Bulgaria: SWERC published its decision on the new feed-in tariffs for electricity from renewables

The State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (SEWRC) published its decision on the new feed-in tariffs for electricity from RES (Decision C-18/20.06.2012).

The new tariffs which came into force from July 1st, 2011 have not been changed for wind energy. However, new feed-in-tariffs were introduced for photovoltaics. The regulator now distinguishes between roof/façade mounted systems and ground mounted systems:

  • Wind PP operating up to 2250h= €97.66;
  • Wind PP operating above 2250h= €88.48;
  • PVPP with installed capacity of 30 kWp= €294.75;
  • PVPP with installed capacity of 30 kWp to 200 kWp= €290.11;
  • PVPP with installed capacity above 200 kWp-€248.28;
  • PVPP with installed capacity  of 30 kWp (roof/façade)= €309.45;
  • PVPP with installed capacity of 30 kWp to 200 kWp (roof/façade) = €304.98;
  • PVPP with installed capacity above 200 kWp (roof/façade) = €298.47;
  • Biomass PP /wood chips/ with installed capacity <5 MW=€130.64;
