Continental Wind Partners works to develop clean energy in Australia and Central and Eastern Europe.
Australia currently generates more than 90% of it’s electricity from fossil fuels. Approximately 75% comes from coal-based thermal generation, making Australia one of the most carbon-intensive economies in the world. The country is rich in very windy locations and enjoys favorable legislation, which makes it perfect for the development of wind farms.
Central and Eastern Europe represents one of the world’s top growth prospects, but most power plants in the region were built before 1980 and are rapidly aging. We believe that the region should add to its generation mix using the latest technology available. All of our projects are developed using the latest model wind turbines, international finance, and top quality environmental and permitting work. We are proud to be based in the countries where we operate.
